U.S. Court of Appeals: contractors who dredged the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet are not liable for damages caused by Hurricane Katrina

In good news for contractors nationwide, the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals recently ruled that the contractors who dredged the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO) are not liable for damages caused by Hurricane Katrina (Ackerson et al. v. Bean Dredging LLC et al.).
