Sheboygan River Dredging Starts Next Month (USA)

Development Manager Chad Pelishek, in an interview on Sheboygan’s Morning News Thursday, said the traffic will be generated by the dredging project on the Sheboygan River.

Pelishek says they’ll be working 24/7, estimating about 300 trucks a day out of downtown Sheboygan until the project is complete.

He also stated that the dredging is scheduled to begin toward the end of May or early June.

The project will clean up the river and deepen the channel from Kiwanis Park to the mouth of the river. The dredging will be hauled to landfills in either Manitowoc or Calumet County.
