Mozambique: New Dredging Equipment for Port of Beira

Mozambique’s port of Beira prepares for a new tug and two launches, reports ghanaweb.com.

Mozambican government finances this project in cooperation with the Danish government.

This project will allow Empresa Moçambicana de Dragagens (Emodraga) to control and dredge around 2.5 million cubic metres of sediment from the access channel into the port of Beira each year.

The project value is 38.2 million euros.
