CHEC Bags Port Construction Deal in Ghana

On July 23, CHEC and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority signed a contract for coastal fishing port construction in Ghana, with a contract value of 195 million U.S. dollars and a construction period of 30 months.

The project involves the reconstruction and extension of 11 coastal fishing ports in Ghana, breakwater and terminal coastline construction, basin dredging, land backfill, inbound road, auxiliary housing building, water and power facilities, etc.

The successful bid will play a positive role in further consolidating CHEC’s market role in Ghana and making CHEC better participate in infrastructural construction in Ghana.
