Bill Whitley, the Middlesex County Administrator, stated that the Jackson Creek dredging project in Deltaville is complete.
“The county-owned spoil site in Deltaville used to store dredged materials is full, and the sand will need to be removed. This will not be a cost to the county and should generate revenue from a firm that can use the sand,” he said.
Ssentinel.com reports that this dredging project will bring a lot of benefits for the boaters and will allow them to more easily enter and exit Jackson Creek.
