Following its formal commissioning, the multi-billion Onitsha River Port Complex has begun operations last week.
According to thisdaylive.com, the formal unveiling of the Onitsha River Port Complex followed its complete rehabilitation by the Federal Government.
“The facility involved the construction of a new port building, staff quarters, erosion control, and procurement of modern cargo equipment among others,” stated Senator Idris Umar, the Minister of Transport.
