A long-awaited sand replenishment project has begun along the Baldwin County beaches.
“The Manson Construction, which won the roughly $13.2 million overall project bid, started mobilizing today,” stated Blake Phelps with the city of Gulf Shores.
According to al.com, this project is expected to take about 4 to 6 months to complete, finishing up at the Alabama-Florida state line in Orange Beach.
