USA: Onondaga Lake Dredging Halted

 Onondaga Lake Dredging Halted

Following the persistent complaints of odors from residents of Camillus, Honeywell has halted the major part of the Onondaga Lake dredging program.

According to syracuse.com, the residents of the Golden Meadows development repeatedly called Honeywell’s hotline last month complaining about the odors.

Really bad, flammable, chemical, eye-tearing, choking, can’t-stay-outside-in-it, can’t-breathe odors,” stated resident Lynda Wade.

The company plans to resume dredging within the next two weeks.
