Le Havre port officials have introduced plans to make large investments in Chinese ports sector, according to chinadaily.com.

Gerard Mercher, general manager of Le Havre Development, stated: “We are looking for opportunities to invest in Chinese ports especially in the second-tier cities, which have great potential.”

Chinese ports would also benefit from the investment by learning from the French’s company experience in ports management and other areas, added Mercher.
