Israel Ports Development & Assets Co introduced plans for the construction of the “Hadarom Port Project” in Ashdod Israel and/or construction of the “Hamifratz Port Project” in Haifa Israel.
The works, for each port project, basically consist of the following:
a. Construction of a Staging Harbour (only for the Hadarom Port Project in Ashdod.)
b. Construction of breakwaters
c. Construction of quays
d. Dredging works, land reclamation and compaction
e. Area development works.
The works have been divided into the following categories for the purpose of prequalification.
- Category “A1” Works – Deep Water Rubble Mound Breakwater Works & Concrete Caisson Works
- Category “A2” Works – Anchored Steel Sheet – Pile Bulkhead Construction Works
- Category “A3” Works – Drilled Cast In-Situ Concrete Pile Works
- Category “A4” Works – Dredging and Fill for Land Reclamation Works.
A conference in connection with the works will be held on Thursday, 15/11/2012, at 10:00 – at the meeting room of the IPC on the 10th Floor of the IPC’s offices at Menachem Begin Road 74, Tel Aviv. Participation in the conference is not mandatory but is highly recommended.
