Contractor Appointed for Pwllheli Harbour Dredging

The Pwllheli harbour dredging plan is progressing well, according to the Cambrian News Online.

This development work will include:

– dredging work to maintain the sailing channel;

– building of a quay wall;

– installation of new flexible pontoon berths.

Jones Bros of Ruthin have been appointed for the completion of these tasks, the Cambrian News Online reports.

Ifor Hughes, the chairman of Pwllheli Chamber of Trade, stated that he had been calling for Gwynedd Council to dredge the harbour since the previous year.
