Corps Presents Mermentau River Dredging Scheme

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has presented the Mermentau River dredging plan.

This cleanup program will include the removal and satisfactory disposal of all material excavated from the Mermentau River – Gulf of Mexico channel.

Dredging work is estimated to cost between $5 mln and $10 mln, and Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued on or about February 12, 2014.
