Waterways Development Projects Continue in South Sudan

Egypt’s Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel-Motleb said that his ministry is continuing the development projects in the fields of water resources and irrigation in South Sudan to clean up the main waterways in the Bahr El-Ghazal area.

The projects include establishment of a number of river ports to link together all main cities and villages and ease the trade movement between the cities.

The minister’s remark came in an address during the celebrations at the Regional Center for Training and Water Studies in Cairo.
