Southwind to Dredge Dismal Swamp Canal

Southwind Construction Corporation, an Indiana-based dredging contractor, will begin dredging operations within the Dismal Swamp Canal near marker No.22 on June 29, 2015.

These dredging operations will take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the dredger ‘Kristi Joe’ and tender ‘Danny Joe’ will be involved in this dredging project.
