The materials dredged by the dredger from Jellingham and Auckland will be loaded in the bottom opening barges, transported and dumped freely in the vicinity of Lower Sagar Dumping Area.

The present navigable depths are 4.1m at Jellingham and 4.6m at Auckland which are required be increased by 0.2m in the first year and further 0.1m in the 2nd year of the project.
