All Set for Tampa Bay Dredging Scheme

Cashman Dredging and Marine Contracting Company, LLC will begin dredging operations in Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County, FL on or about October 16, 2016, according to the U.S Coast Guard.

The dredging works will be conducted within the Federal Navigation Channel encompassing the Hillsborough Bay.

The dredging vessels will be actively working in CUT-A (HB), CUT-C (HB), AND CUT-D (HB).

During this capital cleanup project, the trailing suction hopper dredger ‘Atchafalaya’ and the clamshell dredger ‘Dale Pyatt’ will be in charge of removing shoaled material from the federal channel.

Approximately 2,000 linear feet of floating pipeline and submerged pipeline will be placed in line with the booster barge to the shoreline, the Coast Guard stated.

The work is scheduled to be completed on or about May 6, 2017.
