Louisiana Coastal Summit Takes Place in February

America’s WETLAND Foundation has announced that the Summit on the National Significance of Louisiana’s Coastal Master Plan will take place in February 2017.

The summit follows two leadership forums convened in October 2016 and will be a highly-focused meeting to take stock of goals set in motion 15 years ago.

The program will focus on reviewing progress made, honoring those who helped lead Louisiana’s coastal movement and charting the course of solutions going forward with an eye toward national recognition of Louisiana’s groundbreaking coastal restoration and protection plan, the organizers stated.

This event is set to take place on February 16, 2017 at Lod Cook Alumni Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
