Russia: Opening of Bid Envelopes for Ust-Luga Port Construction Work Planned for July 31

Fuse “Rosmorport” has announced a tender for the right to conclude government contract for execution of engineering and construction works of crossing points in sea and river ports in Ust-Luga port (Leningrad Region).

As RBK St. Petersburg informs contract highest price is 266 million 18.91 thousand rubles. Opening of Envelopes with tender applications is planned for 31-th of July 2010.

The contract supposes arrangement of crossing point within the first phase of container terminal construction ay Ust-Luga port. The ordering party of the construction is Federal agency of sea and river transport, the builder is “Rosmorport”. Turnaround time is five months.

Let us remind that the first stage of the container terminal in sea port at Luga bay of the Gulf of Finland is planned to be put into operation in 2011. The first stage of the terminal will be able to receive vessels with carrying capacity of 2 thousand 500 TEU. The second stage is planned to be finished in 2014, the third — in 2019.
