Singapore: Reclamation Work at Tuas View Continues

The working period on western part of Singapore has been extended and the working details are revised. The reclamation works will involve dredging by cutter suction dredger ( CSD ), trailer-suction-hopper-dredger ( TSHD ) and hopper barges. Shore protection works will be carried out by crane barges

The working period on western part of Singapore has been extended and the working details are revised.

The reclamation works will involve dredging by cutter suction dredger ( CSD ), trailer-suction-hopper-dredger ( TSHD ) and hopper barges.

Shore protection works will be carried out by crane barges and the dredging of sand-key trench by grab dredger. Soil investigation works will be carried out by means of Vibrocore method.

Construction of the cofferdam will be carried out by the crane barges within the working area.
