Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore announces that dredging works period on Sungei Pandan has been extended.

Dredging works will be carried out by the grab dredgers, “Syunkai” and “Draco”. The grab dredgers will be held by 4-point anchoring system and each anchor position will be marked by a yellow buoy, Fl Y 3s.The dredger, with hopper barges in attendance, will have a circular safety working zone of 50-metre radius centred at the dredgers.

Dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping ground by the hopper barges assisted by pusher tugs. During the operation, the dredger will be attended by 2 tug boats. The tug boats will be used to shift the dredger. Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft of the project working area.
