Dutch maritime product-, process- and service innovations. They are strongly represented in the Maritime by Holland Pavilion at Nor-Shipping 2011. The ‘Wall of Innovation’ will feature innovative films, the spring edition of the Maritime by Holland Innovation Newsflash will be distributed and the 20 participants of the Holland Pavilion will share their newest innovations.
Nor-Shipping 2011, the biannual trade show and meeting place for mostly Norwegian ship owners is being held from May 24 until May 27.
The Maritime by Holland Pavilion is the place to be for a one-stop-shopping session. 20 Dutch companies specialised in equipment, ship repair and maritime services will be represented. You will find the Maritime by Holland Pavilion in Hall C, booth no. C01-18.
Wall of Innovation
Eight maritime organisations will exclusively show their innovative film on the ‘Wall of Innovation’. For example, Westmark BV, will show spectacular footage of tests done by the new invention P-Trap. Voith Turbo BV will show the Voith Radial Propeller, a pivotable jet propeller which can be used for the dynamic positioning of drilling platforms. All in all, the ‘Wall of Innovation’ is a ‘must see’ which can be found in the Holland Lounge of the Maritime by Holland Pavilion.
Maritime by Holland Innovation Newsflash
The Maritime by Holland Innovation Newsflash presents 30 innovations of Dutch organisations.
On page 2 Cramm shows the “ Heligrid” a helicopter landing grid. The purpose of the landing grid is to secure a helicopter to the deck of a vessel, using a harpoon or decklock. Kwant Controls’ haptonomic control instruments are shown at page 18. The module provides a direct connection between man and machine. The Maritime by Holland Innovation Newsflash is exclusively available at the Holland Lounge, located at the Maritime by Holland Pavilion.
Holland Herring Party in the Holland Lounge
The popular Holland Herring Party will be held on Thursday May 26 starting at 15.30. This event is held for the participants of the Pavilion and their Norwegian guests, and will be organised again in close cooperation with the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Oslo.
