FDINE Contracted for Survey & Design of Ganyu area at Lianyungang Port (China)

Recently, CCC First Design Institute of Navigation Engineering (FDINE) has won the bid for the survey and design of the first-phase (start-up) project of Ganyu area of Lianyungang Port. The project involves three general berths and a liquid chemical berth, and is scheduled to be designed for 50,000t bulk carriers and 50,000t crude carriers (terminal structures reserved for 150,000t carriers).

The general berths have a coastline of 769 meters and an annual throughput of 6.1 million tons; and the liquid chemical berths have a coastline of 334 meters and an annual throughput of 1.9 million tons. The project is of positive significance to promoting the development of Lianyungang Port. The successful bid will further consolidate FDINE’s market position in Jiangsu, laying a solid foundation for its in-depth development of the local market.
