Maasvlakte 2 is currently the largest water construction project in the Netherlands and highlights the Dutch expertise in this area. This is why the Dredging Museum in Sliedrecht decided to devote an exhibition to the new land reclamation, entitled ‘A Bird’s-eye View of Maasvlakte 2’.

In addition to lots of information and film material, a sand constructed scale-model enables for visitors to admire Maasvlakte 2 up close. The exhibition was made possible partly by the PUMA Consortium and the initiator, the Port of Rotterdam. The exhibition remains open until 12 November 2011.
