Nigeria: National Assembly Will Deal with Ecological and Environmental Problems, Says Senator

Senator Bukola Saraki stated that the National Assembly is planning to deal with the ecological and environmental problems affecting the country. Saraki visited Eletu Bridge, Okekere and a gully erosion site at Ofa Garage in order to obtain first hand information on the issues ravaging the country.

Senator Bukola Saraki stated that the National Assembly is planning to deal with the ecological and environmental problems affecting the country.

Saraki visited Eletu Bridge, Okekere and a gully erosion site at Ofa Garage in order to obtain first hand information on the issues ravaging the country.

He clearly stated that even though many current problems are natural, human beings are playing vital role therefore the intention is to find the way to address the whole situation.

His committee is to provide financial support to a bill that will help lessen the extent of natural disasters in the country.

He further added that the dredging of Asa Dam in Ilorin will commence next year.
