Brazil: TCP Paranagua Modernization Underway

LIEBHERR Container Cranes Ltd. recently delivered two Ship-to-Shore Container Cranes to TCP Paranagua, Brazil. The container cranes have a waterside outreach of 52.50m., span of 18m. and landside backreach of 15.00m. Total lift height under spreader is 38m. S.W.L. is 65 Tonnes under Twin Lift Spread

LIEBHERR Container Cranes Ltd. recently delivered two Ship-to-Shore Container Cranes to TCP Paranagua, Brazil.

The container cranes have a waterside outreach of 52.50m., span of 18m. and landside backreach of 15.00m. Total lift height under spreader is 38m.

S.W.L. is 65 Tonnes under Twin Lift Spreader and 75 Tonnes under hookbeam.

Hoist Speed is 70–175m/min and trolley speed is 210m/min.

Crane travel speed is 45m/min.

Crane drives are LIEBHERR A.C.

These cranes are the first Liebherr ship to shore container cranes delivered to Brazil.

Speaking about the recent delivery, Mr Gerry Bunyan , sales and marketing manager at Liebherr Container Cranes said:

“ We are delighted to have these Liebherr Megamax ship to shore cranes operational in Paranagua. The addition of these cranes to the current operation, allows terminal capacity to increase to more than 1.2 million T.E.U. per year.

This recent expansion at Paranagua is driven by satisfying client needs in offering increased port productivity and turnaround. The addition of the two Liebherr STS cranes is in perfect synergy with these ideals and has the added benefit of delivering lifetime value and reliability.”
