China: CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Bags Two Important Deals

On May 7, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won two bids in succession at Guangxi Beibu Gulf, which respectively are the hydraulic engineering project of the South Dalanping berth No.1, 2 and 3 of the Port of Qinzhou and the dock hydraulic engineering project of Yunyuejiangnan Operation Area berth No.1 of the Port of Fangcheng with a total contract value of over RMB500 million.

The project at the Port of Qinzhou includes a 70000t-level Ro/Ro berth and 2 50000t-level multi-function berths, the construction of which will last 15 months; while the project at the Yunyuejiangnan Operation Area of the Port of Fangcheng includes the construction of the No.1 berth (70,000t-level) dock hydraulic structure, the front berth and dredging of the turning area with a construction period of 12 months.

The completion of these two projects will meet the rapid growth of the cargo throughput of all coastal ports in Guangxi and plays an important role in promoting the sea-bordering industrial development in Guangxi.
