A development of the La Quinta Trade Gateway Terminal is moving forward and in the near future it will provide a state-of-the-art multi-purpose dock and container facility.

According to Port Strategy, the dock will include three berths with nine ship-to-shore cranes, 180 acres of container/cargo storage yard and 400 acres for on-site distribution and warehousing.

The La Quinta Trade Gateway Terminal is a major component of the Port of Corpus Christi Authority’s long-term development plan.

The conceptual plans for the dock and landside improvements had been complete for several years, awaiting channel authorization to proceed.
