Gardline Geosciences Limited, specialists in the offshore geotechnical and geophysical market, and Canyon Offshore Ltd, specialists in subsea robotics, trenching and seabed intervention, announced a 3-year strategic alliance to provide seabed drilling, sampling and in-situ services to complement Gardline’s existing capability in the offshore site investigation market.

Eric Zon, Managing Director of Gardline Geosciences stated: “ This agreement is a perfect synergy to enable Gardline to offer full geotechnical services in the deep water market and to add enhanced operational performance in extreme shallow water-environments. Scott Sparks, Senior Vice President of Canyon Offshore, commented ‘this strategic alliance enables both companies to enhance the services provided to the offshore geotechnical market.”

This technology strengthens Gardline Geosciences and its sister company Asian Geos capabilities, who have an existing fleet of 7 heave compensated drill vessels and 18 seabed CPT units.
