The dredging project at the Blanch Brook, designed to reduce flooding, is almost complete, reports northjersey.com.
This project should reduce the volume of sediment in a brook that has built up overtime, said Borough Engineer Gregory Polyniak .
“ We walked the water course to check compliance with the plan and specs. All is acceptable at this time ,” he said.
According to northjersey.com, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection inspected the site and found that the work is in compliance.
