Recently, 3#-6# berth project in Putou operation zone of Xiuyu of Meizhou Bay Port in Fujian Province, undertaken by CCCC Third Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., has been launched.
The project involves three 40000t and one 20000t general berths. Main works include the hydraulic structure of the terminal, basin and whirling waters dredging, temporary revetment, reclamation and cofferdam construction, dike partitioning, land forming, soft foundation treatment, embedded hydropower parts. With a contract value of 640 million yuan, the project is expected to be completed in late March 2015.
The project will link Xiangtang-Putian Railway and the feeder railway at Meizhou Bay Port about to be open to traffic, and is of great importance to the formation of the new pattern of port development and construction in Xiuyu section of Meizhou Bay.
