The FSUE “Rosmorport” begins implementation of the infrastructural project which is very important for navigation safety provision in Baltic freezing port.

The berth complex for the enterprise’s icebreakers will be built by the middle of 2014 in the framework of the “Development of the Transport System of Russia” Federal Target Program.

At present, the state contract is made on “Reconstruction of federal property objects in the sea port of Saint Petersburg. Berth complex for icebreaking fleet vessels moorage in the sea port of Saint Petersburg”. According to contractual conditions, the state customer is Rosmorrechflot, the developer is the FSUE “Rosmorport” and the general contractor is Injtransstroy Corporation, LLC.

The berth complex will consist of the berth front, operational water area, engineering networks, coastal area with a passage for motor vehicles. The complex will include two berths, 546 and 243 meters long and 25 meters wide, and also a berth wing of 62 meters length. Dredging works are planned.
