Recently, CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. has won the bid for the reclamation project in the east of the east port basin of Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone, with a contract value of 2.25 billion yuan and a construction period of two years.
Located in the south of Tianjin Binhai New Area, with a reclamation area of 4.89 million square meters, a reclamation volume of 46.84 million cubic meters and a soft foundation treatment area of 1.65 million square meters, the project will be implemented in two sections, and involves a 3.29-kilometer new dyke and a 12.7-kilometer tier-2 cofferdam.
The project will play a significant role in promoting the implementation of Tianjin’s overall urban spatial development strategy of “two towns and two ports” and the economic development of Tianjin Binhai New Area.
