Sweden: Ahus Harbour Development Plan Introduced

Åhus Hamn & Stuveri AB has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Åhus harbour development project.

The harbour consists of a total of about 1,600m quay, and the officials now intend to repair a section of about 200m built in the 1960’s, including sheet pile walling replacement.

The Authority also intends to dredge parts of the basin and shipping channel.

Theoretical total volume amounts to about 133,000 m³ dredged material, including outsourcing of erosion.

The deadline for the requests of the documents is January 4, 2013, and the tender deadline is January 25, 2013.
