On December 17, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for the civil works of Phase 1 initial works of No. 3 operation zone of Yangluo area, Wuhan New Port, with a total contract value of 378 million yuan and a construction period of 30 months.

Located at Wuhan Yangluo Economic Development Zone, with a coastline of 563 meters and a land area of 99.57 hectares, the project involves the construction of four 5000t container berths and supporting onshore facilities. The terminal, in high-piled beam & slab structure, is 563 meters long and 30 meters wide.

The project will play a significant role in increasing Wuhan’s port freight volume and integrated shipping service function, and promoting the development and construction of the “golden watercourse” in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
