On January 23, CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co., Ltd. won the bid for the siltation promotion project in the west of Xiaogan Island in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, with a contract value of 475 million yuan and a construction period of 16 months.
Located in the waters southeast off Zhoushan Island, the project is the advance works of Xiaogandao Business District in Zhoushan, involves two siltation promotion dikes with a total length of 6.77 kilometers and is scheduled to commence in February 2013.
The project is of great significance to accelerating the building of Zhoushan Archipelago New District and promoting regional economic and social development.
