The backhoe dredger ‘Pat M’ working in La Guaira, Venezuela, loading the split barge Desterro, during works for the port’s new Container Terminal currently under construction.
The film was made on 16th February and shows the dredger in action loading the barge, and also a few shots of the revolutionary dredge software from Foreshore Technology , with the 3D imagery of the dredged area.
‘Pat M’ is working in approximately 11m of water, with a final dredge depth on -18m, so there is approximately 7m of sand, rock and silt to be removed.
