Part of the beauty of the IADC Seminar is getting out of the classroom and into the field.

“ We are delighted that Boskalis, one of the world’s largest dredging companies, has invited us to visit their dredging site at the Porto do Açu. Most likely the cutter Cyrus II and the hopper Barent Zanen will be available for a visit. This is absolutely a unique opportunity for participants,” IADC announced.

To optimise the chances of the successful completion of a dredging or reclamation project, all contracting parties should – from the start – fully understand the requirements of the project.

With this mission in mind, the International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) launched its, now well- known, seminar 20 years ago.

This year, for the 42nd time, the IADC is presenting this highly informative and respected International Seminar on Dredging and Land Reclamation in cooperation with UNESCO-IHE (24-28 June 2013, Delft, The Netherlands).
