USA: Weeks Marine Nabs Two Important Contracts

According to a news release from the Pentagon, Weeks Marine Inc. of Covington has won the dredging contracts worth $25.1 million. One of these works includes a $17.3 million contract for flood control and emergency repair work at Absecon, N.J., and another is a $7.8 million contract for maintenance

According to a news release from the Pentagon, Weeks Marine Inc. of Covington has won the dredging contracts worth $25.1 million.

One of these works includes a $17.3 million contract for flood control and emergency repair work at Absecon, N.J., and another is a $7.8 million contract for maintenance dredging at Plaquemines, La.

In over ninety years of existence, Weeks Marine, Inc. has grown into one of the leading marine construction, dredging and tunneling organizations in the United States and Canada.

Originally founded in 1919 as Weeks Stevedoring , the company has grown to serve markets throughout North America, South America, the Caribbean and the Pacific Rim.
