The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has announced a plan for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard dredging project, located in Kittery, ME.
This development project consists of dredging at berthing spaces and dry dock entrances at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.
Work includes acceptance of Government’s pre-dredge hydrographic survey, lobster mitigation actions, dredging, dewatering/amending, sampling, testing, characterization, offloading, transport and disposal of soils at a licensed disposal facility.
Total amount of dredged material will be between 5000-6000 cubic yards.
