CEDA International Corporation Completes Acquisition of Quality Group

CEDA International Corporation announces that effective July 10, 2013 it has successfully acquired Quality Group of Companies (“Quality Group”), which is located in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The acquisition of Quality Group will expand CEDA’s presence, relationships with key clients, as well as increase service offerings in the Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo regions.

The Quality Group was formed in 2000 with the acquisition of Quality Electric (founded in 1992), with subsequent acquisitions over the past thirteen years.

The principle lines CEDA has acquired from Quality Group are: Quality Electric, Quality Dewatering Canada, Enhanced Communication Solutions and Valiant Mechanical Services.

This acquisition aligns CEDA for growth opportunities for operating facilities, as well as infrastructure in Western Canada.

Through the acquisition of these companies from Quality Group, CEDA will be adding an additional 100 to 140 staff with an average of 20+ years’ experience to its operations in Fort McMurray. The Quality Group has a long standing safety record (TRIF for 2012 is 1.7), which strongly aligns with CEDA’s safety culture.
