CCCC Second Harbor Lands Jingjiang Dredging Contract

On July 8, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for Lot III of the Changmenxi-Xiongjiazhou section of the channel improvement project of Jingjiang reach in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, with a contract value of 264 million yuan and a construction period of 28 months.

Located in the Zhoutianhe and Ouchikou sections at the end of the upper part of the Jingjiang River, the project involves constructing a submerged spur around Zhangjiawan, with a length of 451 meters (including a 160-meter bended end); protecting the upper part of the left side of Tianxingzhou beach, with a length of 2,850 meters; protecting the lower part of the left side of Tianxingzhou beach, with a length of 2,640 meters; constructing 8 permanent positioning buoys and 6 temporary specific buoys in the construction period.

The project is of great significance to further removing the “bottleneck” on shipping in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, boosting the shipping capacity of the golden watercourse of the Yangtze River and promoting the coordinated development of the regional economy.
