Corps Presents Plan for St. Augustine Inlet Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, has announced a plan for the St. Augustine Inlet dredging program.

The project consists of maintenance dredging of shoaled material from the St. Augustine Inlet entrance channel with beach placement south of St. Augustine Inlet.

The entrance channel will be dredged to a depth of 16 feet plus 2 feet of allowable over depth.

The total value of the St. Augustine Inlet dredging project is between $1 mln and $5 mln.
