On July 24, CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. won the bid for Lot 3 of Phase 1 channel project in the integrated area and bulk area of Huanghua Port in Hebei Province, with a contract value of 1.163 billion yuan.
The project is widening and dredging the 48.3-kilometer 100,000t channel in the integrated port area.
With a construction period of 90 days, the project involves channel dredging and reclamation.
The project will create favorable conditions for 200,000t ore and crude oil ships entering and leaving Huanghua Port, and be of positive significance to boosting the port in becoming a national pivotal port and advancing the economic development of the Bohai Rim region.
