Samsø Municipality has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Ballen area dredging project.
This development venture includes dredging work, establishment of new piers, quays, ferry berths, as well as recovery of materials to the rear of the mentioned area.
The project will last 16 months from the date of the contract award, and the tender deadline is September 17, 2013.
Background
Samsø Municipality has decided to establish a new ferry port south of Ballen by Ballehage Samsoe’s east coast, in order to reduce the sailing time between Samsoe and Zealand.
The project is offered as a turnkey comprehensive detailed design and execution.
