For the 36th time Rotterdam opens the doors to Europe’s largest port during the annual World Port Days with a wide range of impressive vessels to visit and spectacular stunts on the water.

On 6, 7 and 8 September 2013 Van Oord is present with a stand and one of the state-of-the art vessels, Artemis, that will be moored alongside the Parkkade. The self-propelled cutter suction dredger is the latest addition to Van Oord’s fleet. This vessel with a length of nearly 135 metres is accessible to the public during opening times of the World Port Days.

“Opposite Artemis, our team is available to show you around in our stand. Here, we display vessel models that represent the three foundations of our company: dredging, offshore oil and gas, and offshore wind. To enjoy a real maritime experience, you will also be able to watch the performance of various shanty choirs (singing seasongs and shanties) and to have your picture taken at Van Oord’s photo wall ,” announced Van Oord.
