The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, plans to invite bidders for the Baker Bay dredging program.

This deepening project will include removal of approximately 70,000 cubic yards of material from the Baker Bay, a side channel along the Lower Columbia River.

The Baker Bay dredging contract, estimated value between $500,000 and $1 mln, should be performed by a clamshell dredger. The draft solicitation will be available for download for a public review on or about September 13, 2013 at www.projnet.org.
