CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has recently won the bid for the coal unloading terminal project of Taizhou Second Power Plant, with a contract value of 118 million yuan and a construction period of 14 months.

Located in Sanmen County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, the project involves a 35,000 coal unloading terminal (designed to berth 50,000t bulk carriers in terms of hydraulic structure), the front part of the terminal approach, dredging of a 140,000-cubic-meter basin, land arrangement and related supporting facilities, as well as auxiliary works such as water supply and drainage, electric, communications and heating & ventilation works within this range.

The terminal berth has a length of 292 meters, a width of 28 meters and a designed annual through capacity of 4.7 million tons.

After its completion, the project will effectively ease the pressure of power consumption over Taizhou and Zhejiang, and be of great significance to improving the power grid structure, increasing power supply quality, accomplishing the optimal allocation of resources and driving the economic development of Sanmen, Taizhou.
