Kananook Dredging Project: Timeframe Extension (Australia)

Mariners are advised of an extension to the original timeframe for works to desilt the Kananook Creek, announced regionalchannels.vic.gov.au.

Mechanical excavation of silt will occur between the creek entrance and the Wells St bridge, approximately 600 metres upstream.

Mariners are advised that there will be no access to sections of the creek from Monday to Friday during the period to 2 November 2013.

On-water plant, equipment and potential hazards to navigation arising from the works will be marked as per IALA standards.
