The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, has introduced a plan for the Brazos Island Harbor dredging program.
During this cleanup program, located in Cameron County, Texas, approximately 400,000 cubic yards of material will be removed from the mentioned area.
The dredged material should be placed at the Beach Placement Areas DMPA NO. 1 and DMPA NO.5.
The magnitude of this project is between $1 mln and $5 mln, and the solicitation will be issued on or about 7 November 2013, with a due date 30 days later.
