Great Lakes Dredge and Dock has won the Folly Beach Shore Protection project, according to fbo.gov.
This development program, placed in Charleston County, South Carolina, will include dredging of beach fill material from the borrow areas located approximately three miles offshore of the northern end of Folly Beach and disposal of this material onto the beach areas.
The work also includes before and after surveys of the beach area, and pre and post-surveys of the borrow areas.
